A-Day

GENERAL INFO:  

If you purchased an ASB card or a Yearbook at registration and it is NOT on your school ID please bring your ID to the Student Store to receive your updated ID.  REMEMBER you need to have the ASB sticker on your ID to get into the football game for free on Friday!

Attention Freshmen: are you fun and creative? Do you have great ideas? Then run for ASB!! Freshman election packets are available in Room 301.

The Drama Department announces auditions for the fall play: “The Iliad, The Odyssey and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less”. Come to the OAR on Tuesday, September 14th at 3pm. Audition packets available at www.pvhsdrama.com.

DISPATCH AntiSmoking & AntiDrug Health Activity
When: Tuesday, September 14th at Lunch
Where: Senior Park
Purpose: Bring educational resources to engage students to be more proactive in having a healthier life style. Resources on antismoking and antidrugs are provided by organizations such as: American Caner Society, Center for Disease Control, Partnership for a Drug Free America and more.
Students come out and join the fun for a chance to win prizes by participating in a DJ contest answering health questions!

Community Helpline Fall Training starting in 5 weeks:
Help others by taking calls on Community Helpline's crisis hotline. 45 hour training required beginning Oct 12Nov 18 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Learn listening and communication skills and how to help empower callers to find their own solution. Call 3107931415 or email: chelpline@yahoo.com "

Applications for the National Honor Society, Dance Arts are now available and are due by September 24th. See Ms. Mastan for your application.

CSF Membership Drive: Starts Monday, Sept 13 through Thursday, Sept.30. Pick up applications in the LIBRARY or on line at PV High.com under Academics.

Everyone who likes Science or Math or Computer Science, and thinks that they might be interested in engineering is welcome.
You will decide what fun projects we will work on this year.
We need parents who would like to help mentor a group.
Girls will get free pizza!
