Daily Bulletin: Monday, January 6, 2014 (A-day)

TODAY’S BELIEVE IN YOU & BE THE CHANGE TOPIC IS:

Aspirations

“It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.”           Erma Bombeck

Bombeck was an American humorist (1970s) who achieved great popularity for a newspaper column that humorously depicted suburban home life for women.

The Challenge for today is to find someone with whom to share your dreams. Ask them to match you by sharing theirs.

It takes place between December – April.  It’s fun, educational and challenging… and you will be competing amongst the best percussion ensembles in the country, right here in SoCal!

It’s a fun and unique entertainment ensemble comprised of keyboards, synthesizers, guitars, mallet instruments such as marimba, vibes, xylophone and bells, percussion instruments and battery which consist of marching snares, tenors, bass drums and possibly cymbals.  You can participate in either the front ensemble (electronics, guitar, mallet keyboard instruments and percussion) or the marching battery, but must audition for an open spot.  Audition materials and instruction will be provided to every student who is interested.  Please see Ms Parkinson in room 321 for more information.
