On Tuesday, 1/7/14, visiting Alumni will be available during lunch to answer questions about their current college experience.
MUSICAL THEATER SHOWCASE
Join the Drama Department for their Musical Theater Showcase Thursday, January 9th, at 7pm in the MPR. Enjoy an evening of entertainment featuring songs from Broadway’s hottest shows. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
FREE TUTORING
“Free Tutoring will be available starting on December 3. The tutoring will take place every Tuesday and Wednesday, during lunch, in Room 401. Tutors will help with all subjects. No appointment is necessary. Any questions, please see your counselor.”
PSAT SCORES
Parents of our Junior Class students – Please save the date for the PSAT giveback presentation which will take place on January 9th, 2014 from 8:30-9:30 in the MPR. All students who took the PSAT on College Day in October are welcome to pick up their PSAT score reports i n the MPR between 8:00-8:30 on the 9th of January, or after the presentation from 10:00 in the CCC. More info to come next week.
DRUMLINE/PERCUSSION
The Winter Drumline Percussion season is here! Winter Percussion is open to all music students regardless of experience on percussion … we will teach you how to play!
It takes place between December – April. It’s fun, educational and challenging… and you will be competing amongst the best percussion ensembles in the country, right here in SoCal!
It’s a fun and unique entertainment ensemble comprised of keyboards, synthesizers, guitars, mallet instruments such as marimba, vibes, xylophone and bells, percussion instruments and battery which consist of marching snares, tenors, bass drums and possibly cymbals. You can participate in either the front ensemble (electronics, guitar, mallet keyboard instruments and percussion) or the marching battery, but must audition for an open spot. Audition materials and instruction will be provided to every student who is interested. Please see Ms Parkinson in room 321 for more information.

Students: If you purchased ASB or yearbook and it’s not on your current student id card, please come to the Student Store and they will fix this for you. Please bring your current id card. There 50 students that need to do this.
